The Woodstock Legacy Our story begins around 1853 when the Stuchbery family arrived in Australia. Family legend tells of Susan Stuchberry giving birth to a son while awaiting departure from Plymouth. She named him after their ship—Woodstock—linking our family name to a spirit of new beginnings and adventure

Tim Stuchbery
Tim Stuchbery learned the craft alongside his father, Alex, and grandfather—a former tram builder. His foundation in building includes:

Carpentry Certificate III
Licensed Building Practitioner
Life-long learning at the family table
To honour his father’s legacy, Tim founded Alex Woodstock Building Services—also known as Woodstock Building Services (Vic) to keep things simple.
